Fire Alarm Installation and Maintenance
In most commercial and industrial premises, manual electric fire alarm systems are adequate for fire warning and detection;
in some smaller premises, a more appropriate means of raising a fire alarm is viable.
Adequate fire detection and warning is a requirement of the numerous fire safety statutes in force,
as well as the Safety Signs and Signals Regulations 1996. These regulations specify that electrical
fire alarm systems must have an alternative power sources (that is, battery backup), which effectively
outlaws many older fire alarms which work directly from the mains.
We are able to provide a full range of fire alarm systems from a simple convential system to a full
analogue addressable network system. All fire alarm systems are fully compliant with British Standard 5839,
and we will work with you to ensure that you business premises conform to this code of practice.
